Thank you so much for making our day so wonderful. It was amazing to see everyone. We will send out a link to all the photos by the end of the week.

We can’t wait to see you all in, what is it? 11 weeks?  How time flies!

The Blues Fest lineup has been announced and I am pleased to say we aren’t competing against the “it” show of the festival.  (Well, if you have a thing for Keith Urban, maybe we are.)  Check out the Blues Fest website for the concert details.  It is definitely worth heading to while you are in Ottawa.

The invites have been mailed out.  Please don’t forget to submit song requests.  And definitely do not forget to send us your unique tidbit.

Wow!  I can’t believe it’s less than 4 months until the wedding.  4 months until we laugh, cry and get giggy with it while in spiffy clothes. 

We’ve had a few questions about how dressy this shing-dig is.  How best do I answer?  Really, it’s up to you.  If you feel like coming in jeans and t-shirt, I’m confident in say that Derek and I will just be pleased you are there.  If you want to blend in, though, here’s all I can suggest:

• No need for ball gowns
• No need to tux and tails
• No need to top-hat, though they are super cool so you’d get bonus points if you wore one
• Same as above with fancy lady’s hats.
• Otherwise, dress pretty but make sure you can dance in whatever finery you are wearing. 

The museum will be air conditioned, and will have solid floors.  The solid floors sounds silly to you, but at least you won’t worry about making the mistake I did once and wear spikey high heels to a garden party.  That was one aerated lawn after!
